Personality insights lie at the heart of the Persona Life Skills e-learning platform, giving students an intuitive ‘thinking framework’.
Using the Persona thinking framework, students age 13-19 learn how to achieve positive outcomes in different situations, by adapting their communication and behaviour. Long term, this boosts wellbeing.
Persona's thinking framework is social, practical and memorable, making it easily internalised as well as useful for young people in the life challenges they face. It empowers students to think about their own mix of personality styles, and allows them to invite others to consider how they come across to them. While highlighting strengths, it also points out growth areas to bear in mind. Persona uses inherently memorable adjectives to describe each of the four styles: Animated, Decisive, Rational and Sociable. These are easily internalised and quickly become part of the student lexicon.

Where next on our edtech journey?
It's been very rewarding to see hundreds of students using Persona Life Skills in different ways over the past few weeks – whether in school or at home because of Covid-19 isolating. It's being used in tutor groups, PSHE lessons, collapsed timetable wellbeing focus days, and even one-to-one coaching.
Some of the latest developments in the app:
- Every Island (learning module) now features built-in impact monitoring in the form of a 'Postcard' at the end, where students report how well-equipped they feel to get better at the targeted life skills – get in touch to find out more
- Enhanced dashboards to track and measure activity, engagement and life skills progress, are now included with a subscription – request a demo
