Persona Education Newsletter, Dec-24
30-Dec-24
Get ready for 2025 Â Come join us as we re-launch our Life Skills education thought leadership group on LinkedIn, and help us build a sharing community of practice!
Persona Life Skills is the only personal development platform with personality insights at its heart, where students age 11-19 develop social-emotional skills to boost wellbeing, academic and employability outcomes.Â
In the LinkedIn group, you’ll be able to meet others with similar interests, share ideas, discover key research, and learn more about Life Skills education for young people. Life Skills programmes help schools and colleges with behaviour, inspections, destinations and saving money, while boosting student wellbeing, academic performance and employability.
We’re also focusing on bringing life skills awareness to classrooms around the globe and can’t wait to work with you!

Blog: Understanding personalities to inform pedagogyTeachers often default to the belief that students have learning preferences, writes Dr Leila Khouja Walker in this blog (there's a webinar recording and slide deck too). However, if you take the time to look more closely at why some students prefer certain pedagogical approaches, a glimpse into their mix of personality styles will provide insights into communication preferences and how this relates to effective pedagogy. |

Where next on our EdTech journey?
In January we're starting 2025 on a positive note with a focus on Goal-setting. That's Life Skill 1 in our skills framework.
Encouraging young people to set themselves achievable goals promotes a mindset of personal growth and self-improvement. It also allows them to think about their social-emotional intentions, such as managing stress or improving communication.
Whether their goals for the coming year are about personal, emotional, academic, sporting or other ambitions, they will help foster self-reflection and tie in nicely with New Year’s resolutions.
